Hellooooo Monday! My summer wedding season officially kicked off this Saturday with Arielle & Shawn’s wedding at The Brownstone. It was a hot one, but it was so worth it! I can’t wait for their wedding to hit the NEW blog tomorrow! If you haven’t heard all about the new blog, you can read about it here!
So, before we get to the sneak peek, here are some weekend stories . . .
- Friday was a stressful day, so when I left work, I decided to make a spontaneous trip to Orange to help Robert with the hot dog stand at the good ol’ Orange County Volunteer Fireman’s Fair. His family has been running the hot dog stand for eons, and it was pretty fun to help out the fire department. Also . . . funnel cake.
- The problem was . . . I had to do mental math. This is going to sound terrible, but I don’t do fast mental math much in my everyday life. The first person handed me a 20 dollar bill for an $8 total and I was like . . . omg. What is 20 – 8??? My brain froze, and all I could think was, “I’m going to have to ask Robert what 20 – 8 is and everyone is going to think I’m a moron.” Panic is not good for thinking. But I recovered.
- Luckily, everything is $2, so I got the hang of it fast. SO EMBARRASSING.
- I need to know why people don’t like Pizza Hut. I finally went to the one in the Fan, and there was not a soul in the place, except for the employees, of course. It’s always like that at Pizza Huts — empty! I just don’t understand why people don’t see that pan pizzas are superior.
Ok, now for the best part: sneak peeks! I can’t wait for you guys to see how Shawn surprised Arielle at the end of their sparkler exit!! 😉
